August 27 is a Thursday and a school day and so is August 28. Does the Ncfp expect the kids to be absent on those 2 school days to join the Age group? Di kaya mas ok kung 2 weekends ito gagawin? Does anyone here share my sentiment?

I also share my sentiment to that situation,Ncfp IS CARELESS in announcing the 2nd Natl Age Group w/o thinking that all participant are 100% student.ginagaya nila sa Natl. Open.and take note its rainy season.pakesplika nga dyan sa NCFP.at sana welcome sa kanila ang constructive criticism.

Even national open for the year 2007 and 2008 were held during school days. And some top bets in national championships are also students, especially our top women players.

yes top bets are also students in the natls. open! but the facts is that this is Natl. Age Group a tournament not only for Manilans or for Luzon only.how about the plea of aspiring young chess players from Visayas and Mindanao, they can only participate during summer school vacation that this tournament was scheduled to give ample time and preparation for all students after the end of school year.so were depriving other young chess players around the country to participate in this prestigious event.only students here in Manila will take advantage and take note also that prominent schools of NCAA, UAAP to name of the few that the.y can fully support chess players because of their home town advantage.so NCFP must adopt like what is doing by the Shell company nationwide.it is sad to note many students succeed in this tournament with less recognition from NCFP.
